With the generous support of PALM Netherlands 🇳🇱, we are implementing the Elders Empowering Project in Vavuniya District, Northern Province.

The “Gee Rasavindana” Musical Appreciation Programme was conducted by Vavuniya South Pradeshiya Sabha in collaboration with PALM Foundation for the elderly community on 25th August 2026. A total of 115 elderly participants attended the programme, including 23 males and 92 females. The programme provided an opportunity for participants to enjoy and appreciate old Sinhala songs, recall pleasant memories, and share their life experiences. Through music and singing, the programme promoted happiness, emotional well-being, social interaction, and active participation among elderly community members.
