The project is supported by the donor Winters van den Speulhof, through PALM Netherlands 🇳🇱, we are proudly implementing the Youth Empowering Project in the Vavuniya District, Northern Province.
The project launching event was conducted on 25th August to officially introduce the project to 85 participants (61 males and 24 females), including selected youth, VTA representatives, PALM Sri Lanka, and other relevant stakeholders.
The event focused on explaining the project objectives, vocational training opportunities, expected outcomes, and roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders. It provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination and collaboration among the project team, VTA, participating youth, and other relevant stakeholders.
The event also motivated the selected youth to actively participate in vocational training and encouraged them to view skills development as a pathway towards employment, self-employment, and improved livelihood opportunities.
