With the generous support of American Egale Outfitters, and through the referral of Hirdaramani Apparel International (Pvt) Limited in partnership with PALM Foundation and Vocational Training Authority (VTA), we are proudly implemented the Youth Empowering Project in the Vavuniya District, Northern Province.

The Youth Empowering Project Closing Event was successfully held on 30th April 2026 at the Vavuniya District secretariat. The event marked the completion of the project implemented from September 2025 to April 2026. Around 55 youth (Male 11 and Female 44) have been followed Follow mentioned courses, Beauticians and Hair, IT, Tailoring and Graphic Designer.

The main objective of the event was to review the project outcomes, distribute toolkits and T-shirts to trainees, and appreciate the engagement of key stakeholders.

The program was attended by representatives from the Government Agent, Vocational Training Authority (VTA) Assistant Director Mannar and Vavuniya with Course instructors, PALM Foundation,  Hirdaramani Apparel, and Vocational Training Authority 50 Students. During the event, students shared their learning experiences and feedback on the project, highlighting the skills and knowledge gained.

The Director of PALM Foundation presented an overview of the project and stakeholder contributions. Toolkits were officially handed over to the VTA Vavuniya Branch, and several speeches emphasized project achievements, future opportunities, and continued collaboration. The event concluded successfully with active participation from youth and stakeholders, reflecting the positive impact of the project and its contribution to youth development and empowerment.
