Professor S. Vijesandiran is a Senior Lecturer of the University of Peradeniya and has a BA (Hons) 2nd Class (Upper Division) degree in Economics (Majored in Statistics), also from the University of Peradeniya. He has followed Post Graduate diploma in Natural Resources Management & Sustainable Agriculture at the Agricultural University of Olso in Norway, and MSc in Economics at the same institute. He was selected as a Director to PALM Community Development Services Company (G) Ltd since 2009.
